We are pleased that the Sound Transit board voted this week to defer its decision on a preferred alternative for a new light rail station in Chinatown International District. The board did the right thing by agreeing to conduct more thorough analysis and involve the community.  Uwajimaya supports the mission of Sound Transit, and we’re confident that together we can invest now to find solutions that minimize harm to our neighborhood and improve regional connectivity.
